The Re-Education of Benjamin Green

As a student I learned from many teachers. As a teacher I am learning from many students. Learning is a state of mind. The state of education is changing right before my eyes. I realize that my eyes have not deceived me....but the process of becoming a teacher can be. Allow me to alter that statement, the process can be daunting but the process of getting there in lies the problem.

My educational journey (towards becoming a teacher) began in the  fall of 2007. Before committing to become a substitute teacher, I volunteered my time in the classroom. It was here that I truly began to embody the essence of teaching. I chose Early Childhood as my grade levels to observe and to learn from. It wasn't long before I started the process of becoming a substitute teacher. This was the beginning of the Re-Education of Benjamin Green....(part 1)

My Name is Ben Green,...and this is "Where I've BEN!"
